What results can I expect from PDO / Mono Threads?

You should notice an immediate tightening up of sagging skin thanks to the scaffolding effect of the threads.  These results will continue to improve over the coming months as tubes of collagen form around the threads.  Your skin will appear firmer, and any lines will be minimised.  The threads dissolve around 3-6 months after the procedure, leaving the collagen matrix in their place, so the benefits will last some time.

How long do (absorbable material): PDO / Mono Threads (Polydioxanone) last?

Polydioxanone is used for biomedical applications, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery because it is fully absorbed by hydrolysis within 3 to 6 months.  The foreign body stimulates collagen synthesis & the skin structure created can last for up to 1 year, depending on the initial structure of the skin and the body’s natural ageing process.  Best results are seen between 3-6 months post treatment.  Top up threads may be required to achieve your desired results and will be charged separately.

Please note RF or Ultrasound will dissolve the threads.
